Extremely threatening emails from ex-boyfriend..help

I need help soon on what I can do with this. I am getting very threatening emails from an ex boyfriend, and I don't know just what to do about it. I dont know what can be done with emails? These emails have gone far enough to threaten my life!
This guy seems extremely dangerous and any help or advice anyone can give me would be very appreciated!!

Please update your profile to show your State. Without a State name, we can't even attempt to assist you, if we're even able to assist you at all. Laws are different everywhere.
