Although this is not particularly a family law board concern, I will respond. I believe he has every right to kick them out if he so chooses. She does not own the house - nothing is in her name so she has no right to stay if she is not wanted there. Within 7 days is questionable. I know when renting, you have a "7 day Notice to Quit" that is sent to delinquent tenants. They then have 7 days to either pay, or go to court. They then have another chance to pay, or are then ordered to be out within 30 days. If they are not out at the end of the 30th day, their stuff can be set outside the premises, locks changed, etc. When you willingly let someone live in a house WITH YOU - you can ask them to leave at any time. I don't know why she would want to stay anyway!!! If I'm not wanted, I would leave!! Good luck, hope this helps a little. Check with a lawyer to be absolutely sure.
