| My son has been trying to get to college, and working part time, and was insecure about being a parent, and did't know if he could take care of michael. He got married 2 years ago, and wanted michael to live with him 'and his wife, and they would't allow it. Going to court ,and fighting is costly, and the money was't there, and since he got to see him every 2 weeks, and the grandparent was ok with that ,so he went along with him, and he tried to see michael without going to court for custody. Before they went to Florida, my son went to court to try to stop michael from leaving the state, and we had a terrible lawyer ,the judge to left him go, and he said we could bring them back up to pa. for custody hearing, but they were ignoring it, and we couldn't get them back for a hearing ,and michael was in florida, and my son feared he wouldn't see michael again ,if he started to fight with them. Since then, my sons's wife went into stripping, and left him, just walked out, and we never heard from her in 2 years. My son has been in therapy emotionally for loosing his son, and his wife. It is a very sad situation, and Michael seems depress everytime we call him on sunday. His family is in Pa., he has no family there accept his grandparents. My son doesn't feel he would have a chance in Florida courts [Edited by cheyenne on 11-17-2000 at 09:48 PM] |
