Financial help for divorced dad

Divorced Dad paying 52% of income for child support will be held in contempt of court by ex-wife for her medical bills and legal fees. Has used all resources including family, present wife, credit cards, etc. Is now at a point where there is nowhere else to go but jail. Also is being threatened by the IRS for back taxes, which is trying to be resolved. There is no way in my natural life that I can pay all of this. This is the state of Massachusetts. I would like to know the following questions:
1. If I do not appear in court how long will I be put in jail for?
2. If I do go to jail and my child support payments fall behind, how do I get caught up?

If you fail to appear in court, you will lose everything by default and be in even bigger trouble. Go to court, explain the situation and take all your documentation. It is the least you can do.

If you go to jail, you catch up when you get out and over the rest of your life until it is all paid.
