MY situation is that a have a attorney that is doing a very poor job and want to fire her but I have a court date set for the 30th of may and want to know if I let her go can I still have my case heard before the court, by representing myself, it is over a name change for my son to carry my name. I feel the attorney has no interrest in my case what so ever and only wants my money. Also any paper work that has already been taken care of by her, but is still waiting to be sent to the judge, is she still responsble to take care of it and make sure I get my copy after being signed by the judge after I fire her , because I have already been billed for it since this took place 2 months ago at another hearing at which she also did a very poor job !! Any advice would help me and would be appreciated. thanks gidget

why would I want to keep a attorney that will only be there just to be there and take more money that she definitly has not worked for. when I said she has done a poor job thats being nice, she doesn`t really say or do anything in my behalf, true I don`t know all the laws, but if ask I can at least answer, unlike my attorney, which never answers.and has said to me already that its in the judges hands not hers. thanks GIDGET
