gettin my name off of a loan

This is my problem.I was living in mass.when i got married. while i has married we took out a car loan.In order to get the loan i had to co sign .well we got devorced and on the devorce papers it says that he is responcable for taking over the car payments.I need to take out a car loan out but i can't until my name is taken off the loan. So i called the dealorship and they gave me the name of the bank that we got the loan out from. Then i talked to them they said that the only way i can get my name off is for him to take ou another loan in his name.So i asked him to do that but he won't so what can i do to get my name off of the loan?

Go back to court and have the judge order him to refinance the car in his name.. that is the only way that it can be done at this point.
