My ex, who is military, has been living overseas for 4yrs, and is still there. I only spoke to my children over a year ago. What can be done, to have more contact with the children? to let you know, I took my ex & new wife to court, 4yrs ago in may, to have custody changed, that didn't work, even though there was prove of abuse in the home, neglect, plus the step-mom was requested to get a psychological eval. how could family and children services allow these people to go overseas?! I spoke to my children, over a year ago (7/3/99) they were crying and asking when they can come see me? they were put up to this by ex & stepmom, how cruel!
My question to this is: What is the age for a child to request to live with the other parent? What can I do as far as them being overseas, being able to speak to them, getting pictures of them, etc...? (last school sent was 5/99) Please reply as soon as possible... |
