help in regards to my 9 year old son please

i need to ask two questions that i need answers to quickly, i cannot find a category for my son (age 9) who has ADHD and here are the two questions:

he was diagnosed 2 years ago with adhd by a psychologist.

1. i want to know if he is eligible for state disability
2. he is being harrased alot at school by the principal and what can we do

My child also has ADHD for 6 years now. I am so sorry to hear about the trouble the child is going through at school! The only advise I can offer is to call your board of education about the principle. As far as disibility, I think it depends on what state you live in, but here in Ga., it doesn't cover ADHD children unless there is a greater disibility with it, such as a severe mental or physical handicap.

I too am sorry about the problems with your sons school. Yes ADHD is a disorder, but I don't beleive it qualifies for having disability. As far as the school principal, that is unethical and inappropriate; you will need to take that situation to a higher authority and get that dealt with asap. Before any further problems incur.
