| I have paid child support through garnishment of my Military retirement check. This child turned 18 in September, and the garnishment was stopped. Now, I find out that the "mother" has filed a petition to have the support re-instated, claiming that this child has returned to high school after being a "drop out" for the last 3 years. I live in Indiana, they live in Kentucky. Can anyone tell me anything about a situation like this? He has actually never lived with his mother. Her father has provided all of his care, etc. even tho she continued to recieve the checks. Thanks! |

| LB....it sounds like his mother is the biomom and her father is the biomom's father, the son's grandfather. |

| My response: LB - - I think our writer made a Freaudian slip. The writer, I believe, is the stepmother, writing in the First Person for the bio-dad. But then, toward the end of the post, does a "change up".
