| I have a friend going through a not to nice divorce. His daughter is 8 months old. Right now he gets 7 hours a week visitation every time he asks for more she denies it saying it's not good for the baby to be away from her all day. She denied evernight visitations using a court appointed parenting class as an excuse saying it is unhealthy for the baby to be away from home overnight. He has the baby 4 hours on saturday and she put the baby on a schedule where she sleeps and eats 3 out of the 4 hours he has her. He has paid child support since the day he left the house and all he wants is more time to know his daughter. I see him hurt every day because of this. Are there any laws or rights to help him? The longer this drags on the more time he is missing with her. |

| Well, he'd better get a lawyer and start fighting now because it won't get any better if he lets his ex or soon-to-be-ex have her way. My husband is a terrific man and a loving, devoted father and he hasn't seen his oldest daughter in 2 1/2 years. She's 14. Tell him not to wait. Do it now before it gets even harder! |
