how to get custody of children

What is the age for a child to choose which parent to live with? (GA)
Does the hearing have to be in the state where x lives, as he has custody?
What about when x has a rental property in the state where the divorce was submitted, can custody be held there?

Your child's desires are but one factor the court will use to determine whether or not to change the court ordered custody and visitation issues.

Jurisdictional issues will vary. But, usually, the court of original jurisdiction (where original court order was) will be the place where the new proceedings will be, unless your family attorney can show cause to change.
