What rights do I have in Missouri, to see my granddaughter in Kansas. They are 40 miles away. She is going on seven months of age. My son and daughter-in-law said they never want to see me again. My daughter-in-law is only 17 years old. She uses my granddaughter against me. It all started when I let my daughter whom is 16 years old go stay with them for the school year, because her school had lost their state accredidation, and in order to attend college she would have to attend an accredited school. Well my daughter and daughter-in-law got in an argument, and my son held my daughter down while my daughter-in-law hit her. My daughter called the police, and she was taken into police protective custody. I had to go through social services the next day to get her back, because my daughter-in-law told the police the reason she came to live with them was because I was an alcoholic and on drugs, which is totally untrue. So the police took my daughter from them because she was being battered, and turned it all around on me. Of course I have my daughter, but I want to know, how can I see my granddaughter?
