| My brother age 61 lives with my mother age 93. I am 67 and would like to visit my mother, but my brother, although he has not refused me, has presented me with numerous obstacles to visitation. Also, their apartment is filthy with broken down furniture. I offered to help. However, my brother has refused all aid. He keeps my mother in the dark. He does not answer or return my calls. What recourse do I have? |

| Contact the Social Services dept in the county where your mother lives. They may be willing to inspect or give you information on taking over the guardianship of your mother. |
