I am actually a college student looking for information. I was trying to find precedents in our courts, but a "lengthy constitutional discussion" may also prove invaluble. Thank you so much for your input.

as a reminder, I was asking about the implications of parental monitoring over the computer.

My response:

Since you are a college student, I presume you know how to read. "As a reminder," I'll repeat what I said: I will not get into any further discussion on this Constitutional issue. Because you are a college student, you deserve to know why. The reason for my stance is because I knew this would engender far more discussion than I was willing to spend time on, and VOLUMES have been written about "privacy" - - and this is not the forum for such lengthy, or esoteric, discussion.

Since you are a college student, I will further presume that you have access to legal sources and / or professors with whom you may enter into lengthy and esoteric Constitutional discussions. In my last post, I have supplied you with some "authorities" on the subject, and you are free to look them up, read them, and if you have further questions, take the matters up with those persons with whom you can spend hours, and hours, of discussion time.
