My question is, if my husband died, could his ex wife try to get money out of it? (He inquired it during OUR marriage). Also, could she try to get his social security? We are just trying to cover all the bases..we don't want any surprises. Thanks. Oh, we are in Arizona.

My response:
Going by your facts as given here, if your husband is no longer married to the "other woman," and all money and accounts were "acquired" when he was married to you, then only YOU can get your mits on the money. Not her. She has as much right to your husband's money as I do. (Now, where's my $1,000.00 for this wonderful advice?).
Good luck to you, and a long happy and wonderful marriage.
