ILLEGAL ALIENS RIGHT TO CHILD

MY SISTER IN LAW HAD A BRIEF RELATIONSHIP WITH A MAN AND BECAME PREGNANT. HE HAS NOT BEEN IN HER LIFE SINCE SHE TOLD HIM (14 MONTHS NOW) THE BABY IS 4 MONTHS OLD. HE IS HERE IN THIS COUNTRY ILLEGALLY FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS AND HE SPEEKS VERY LITTLE ENGLISH. NOW HE SHOWS UP AND WANTS TO SEE THE BABY! WHAT RIGHT DOES HE HAVE? DOES HE HAVE ANY RIGHTS IN THE U.S.A. WHEN HE IS NOT EVEN SUPPOSE TO BE HERE? WHAT IF HE TAKES THE BABY AND GOES BACK TO MEXICO AND WE NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN? HE HAS NEVER PAID ANYTHING FOR THE CHILD. HE HAS NEVER EVEN TRIED TO CONTACT, SEE OR CHECK ON THE BABY. WE ARE NOT EVEN SURE IF HE IS WORKING IN THIS COUNTRY OR ANYTHING. WHAT RIGHTS DOES SOMEONE HAVE IN A UNITED STATES COURT OF LAW THAT IS NOT EVEN A UNITED STATES CITIZEN? HELP!! WE DO NOT WANT MONEY OR SHARED CUSTODY, WE JUST WANT HIM TO STAY AWAY LIKE HE DID FOR THE LAST 14 MONTHS! THIS IS NOT A SELFISH DECISION ON OUR PART, THIS IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THIS CHILD!! I HOPE SOMEONE CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVICE. I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

If I am not mistaken he cannot even file a suit in the US courts without being legalized first.
