My response:

You write her a Certified, Return Receipt letter saying, "You're Fired. Return my ORIGINAL office file to me within 10 days from the date of this letter. Additionally, I want a full refund of all monies I paid to you because ____________________. If either or both of these demands are not met within the above time frame, I will file a Complaint against you with the State Bar, and also file a lawsuit against you."

Then, you call the State Bar of California and tell them you want Complaint forms mailed to you for filling out and return.

Then, if the amount you believe she owes you for services completed in an incompetent manner is equal to or less than $5,000.00, file a Small Claims Court lawsuit against her.
