Ok I need to know if anyone can help me find laws about Indepentent Living Funds I need to know if there is any options out there for me? I can't seem to get DSS to help. I just turned 18 and signed the placement order

Do you mean housing assistance? DSS offers Section 8,they should go through the qualifications and help you in getting started. I am 19 years old,and a single mom,so I've been through the hassle of DSS,but in the end,they helped me out a great deal. You didn't say much in your post-wether you have a child(ren),or if you were pregnant,if you are,you can apply for Work First also. HTH.
