The bio mom moved out of her mother’s home and left our 5yr old now 7yr old.
We all went to family counseling then we went to court, when no compromises could be met.
After a year we have a court date, their side had seven continuances.
My question is: My attorney says we have no choice but to give the GP a standard visitation order, because the bio mom has signed her rights over to her mother. Why? Doesn’t the other Parents wishes come in to play? We want the GP to have visitation, but not parenting time(everyother weekend/holiday) Do we have any recourse? I am confident we will win custody, because we are fit parents no drugs, drink or brushes with the law. I am very concerned with this visitation time however. |
