Liability of spouces debt prior to marriage

Can a prenuptial or other document be filed limiting or exemting one spouse from the other spouses's debt that pre-extists the marriage in the state of California?

My response:

Absolutely. However, this question is already answered by California Statute; i.e., all debts predating a marriage remain the separate liability of that debtor.
