If a child is 20 yrs old and no longer a full time student, but the father continues to pay child support (even though he is not required to by law), is the father still liable for medical bills? The insurance won't cover because the child is over 19 and not a full time student.

What does your support agreement say? Since the child is 20 and not a student, he is probably resonsible for his own insurance. Does he have a job that provides insurance coverage?

Support is required as long as the child is a full time student. At the time the bills accumulated, he was living on his own with a full time job. Unfortunately, he did not yet have health insurance. His father continued to pay child support even though the child was finacially supporting himself. Since the father was voluntarily still paying child support could he be responsible for the medical bills?
