please tell mw what i can do. i have been
very unhappily married for four years. in
these four years we brought into the world
two children. i want to leave my husband but i am afraid that he might try to take the kids. I have family in NC and they have offered me to go there with the kids. There is plenty of room and are want to get me a good job so i can get a place of my own. But right now i am in NY and i dont know if my husband would let me take the kids down there.
please help me. i have been prolonging this for so very long.

If you want to leave your husband, file for a legal separation or divorce and for custody of your kids. If you just leave without going through the courts, you will lose your kids. If you feel you need a restraining order, then get that too.

Do not just take the kids and go that is kidnapping, go to court and settle the matter
