i recently moved to illinois from tennessee about a year and half ago. ever since i got married in oct. 98 my ex refuses to pay child support although he did pay me 200.00 dollars in january. i found outthat the state of illinois cashed the check about 2 months ago. every time i call them they give me the run around. is there anything that i can do to get my money? also they won't take him to court because they said i have no proof that he has a better job and until i get it they can't do anything to him? is there anyway that i can find out where he works?
