I left my ex 1yr 6mths ago the divorce was final in July.(NY state) During the seperation I had no income and ex was paying 200. a week. I was on SS food . The kids are on his med. I was told according to income is how the split the co-pays. since mine was 0 he has to pay 100% He paid none of it. I kept asking my lawyer during diliberations about the $250.debt owed me in co-pays he said wait till I take him to family court after the divorce was final. He said there is no way he can get out of the 1999 medical back pay(even though the divorce was not final. Now the divorce is final since july. he owes me over $600. will I get it all back?
