minor marriage laws (without parental consent)

In the state of Mississippi the marriage law w/o parental consent is 15 for females and 17 for males does this mean that a person that wishes to get married in Mississippi must be a resident of this state?

My response:

Yes. Each State has it's own residency requirements for both marriage and divorce. If you fail to satisfy the residency requirements of a particular State, the marriage or divorce is void or voidable.
