I neglected to add that I too am suposed to receive child support, but have not since Oct. 1999. My ex husbands license has been suspended, and still no support. I also should've added that $400/mo may not seem like much, but we live in Oklahoma, where the cost of living is much less than in other areas. For example the amount I should receive for my 1 child is like $176 or something. I need to clarify that when I mentioned utilities, and rent etc... those would be justifiable things that the money could be spent on. There would be something to at least say she spent it on, as opposed to no allowance, clothes, recreation, etc... Being on the othe end as well, I realize that saying paying for utilities is not fair or correct, but at least it would be a starting point for which she could say she used the money on.
