In Sacto. County, CA my Stipulation Agreement says I am to pay support until my son: dies, marries is emancipated or reaches 19 OR 18 and is not attending high school fulltime residing with a parent, whichever occurs first.
My son will be 18 next month. He started living with his grandparents 6 mos. ago while my ex gives them my support checks and claims to give some of her income (right LOL). The grandparents are wealthy. My son goes to school once per week as he is in an independent study program working to fill his credits for grad. Does NOT attend school full time. Can I take the words in the agreement literally? It says nothing of graduation...."attends" school full time.
Also, do I need to file something to end child support?
