| My husabnd has been divorced for a year. Over the past year his ex has been calling me on my cell phone (he called her from the phone one day and she has called back ever since) going up to his job asking for money and has followed us home after he dropped the children off for visitation. She has a diagnosis of schizophrenia. In the divorce papers, it says that she shall not harass or threaten him. What can be done? I filed harassment charges against her. But they just told her to leave me alone. We spoke with a lawywer who said that it was criminal so we would have to go to a criminal lawyer. She has custody of the 2 children. She also has the right to claim them as dependents on her taxes. But she does not work. SO she allows her parents to claim the children that he pays child support for. We also asked about that and we were told that that was between her and the IRS. But I feel like her should have the right to claim them since she does not work, and her parents do not support them. What can be done? |

The matter of child support write-offs is a matter between her, her parents, and the IRS. However, you can report the matter to the IRS and, if they decide to investigate, and take action, there's a reward from the IRS waiting for you upon their conviction!
