| | | I feel helpless. I have devoted my spare time to trying every route possible to receive cild support for my 4 year old and have had no luck or help.I have full custody and on september 30,1999, my son's father was ordered through the court to pay $258.00 a month; which I might add, is not a lot of money. The payments were to start on October1,1999. It is now close to June and I have not received one payment. This is a very complicated situation because My son's father does not have a legal job. He is married and his wife pays all of teh major bills legally. Meanwhile, he runs a tattoo business out of his house and does so with no license. It is a complete "cash" business so there is absolutly no record of him making a dime. He obviously does not claim ANY taxes and to top it all off, he does not even have the proper equipmenet to sterilize his "instruments". In fact of mutual friend of ours told me that the method of sterilization he uses only kills approximatly 40-45% of the germs. He is running a very shady and possibly lethal business. I think that it would be a tragedy to have a hepatitis outbreak just because he is a dumba**. Then there is the primary issue. He is not supporting his son at all. If he does 3 tattoos in a night, he can make up to $600.00 in his pocket and my son does not see a cent. The amount of child support he is supposed to pay a month,he can make just by giving one person a tattoo!! I have gone through DCSE(Division of Child Support Enforcement) and they are not much help, especially since he is not employed through a legitamate business!! I am taking him back to court at the end of June and praying that he will go to jail. I am convinced that he will never opay what he owes,(as of May the grand total is $2084.00 and some odd cents). I have contacted the crimainal departmnet of the IRS and the Health Dept. They both told me that they would do a routine investigation. I have called the police and they said that they can not do anything unless I know exactly when a tattoo is taking place.I can not convince anyone to help me set him up so it is virtually impossible for me to know exactly when a tattoo is being given. To make it even worse, if my son goes to his dad's for visitation,(currently I am denying visitation because I had to call Chil;d Protective Services on him. That's a whole other long story!!),he is subjected to this trashy lifestyle that his dad is living. That is the main reason I left him. He would have people at our house until 3 in the morning, evrynight, getting tattoos ~ some of these people even had there kids with them. I am at my wits end I am just trying to get a little justice for my son. Anyone out there willing to help me, I am open for options!!!! |

| | | Contact your District Attorney's office on Tuesday. Administrativly, the office can work on the issue for you. 250.00 per month isn't going to break the guy, but, go figure. They may be working on it now, anyway. It won't do a lot of good to jail the guy for non-payment, but you may get his attention, even if it's for a zoning violation.(?) Good Luck-PS |

| | | PS and anyone else out there trying to help. This is Mom IN Need, I just finally registered that it why this is under a different name. I actually did call the district attorney and told the whole situation to them. They said that there was nothing that they could do until there were criminal charges brought forth by the police dept. Catch 22 situation!! Any other advice???? PLEASE!!! Thanx! |

| | | MISH- Don't be discouraged, a lot of folks are gone for the week-end. Without getting an attorney to push it,and most cannot afford attorney fees, but Have you talked to someone at AttorneyPages.com? Private collection agencies don't help, without major fees. I'm stumped, but someone from your state's been through this, and can help.
