Obtaining Info about Medications

Can a nursing home refuse to provide a list of medications (what, when taken, amounts, and for what) if the requestor is not the Power of Attorney? I am the granddaughter of the resident/patient of the nursing home and visit frequently. The POA -- my uncle does not question anything! My grandmother's condition has deteriorated severely in the 10 months she has been in the nursing home, and they are giving her antipsychotic drugs. The nursing home doctor also refuses to talk with me because I am not the POA! {State of Tennessee)
