Question
How do I get an order to show cause? Do I need an attorney? He now lives in Ca. and I still live in HI. He is currently using written extortion tactics to make me pay outstanding state taxes that were not covered in the decree. This is snowballing and I just want to get on with my life. But now I have all tax agencys after me! He still has no money and is trying to force me to pay for all of it.

Get a free, or very low cost, consultation with a Family law attorney. Call the Hawaii State Bar Association for a referral.
