| My daughter is a US citizen married to a Canadian citizen. They married in Canada. She is now back in the states (Florida), with their child (with written permission), seeking a divorce. Possibly uncontested, but maybe not. How should she proceed and how can she be assured of receiving child support? Thanks |

| International cases can be very difficult and dangerous. Your daughter MUST get an attorney, and one who is famaliar with international cases. I'd check with the Canadian Embassy in DC or the Consulate in Miami for a referral and suggestions. |
