PLEASE ADVISE RE: Emergency restraining ord.

Please, please, can somebody tell me ASAP how to go about getting an emergency restraining order against a father towards a 2 year old child?

Documentation by his own hand has recently been discovered detailing plans for killing his child and her mother.

We need to buy ourselves some time retaining a lawyer prior to his next scheduled visit, which is in 3 days from now.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. By the way, we are in L.A. County, California.
