Unhappy

My ex live-in boyfriend of 6 years just left me a nasty message on my answering machine. He walked out on me and my 10 year old son (not his) and owes me money for this months bills and for a fence that HE had put up and marked the property wrong. It's 40 feet over the property line and has to be moved. He has promised to pay but I don't trust anything he say's anymore. I have kept his things to bargain with but after he made the threat that he will take everything if I don't give in to the items he wants. I'm really scared. He has been married up untill April of this year so can we be considered common law married. We have NEVER had anything in both of our names. The house is in my name alone as well as the car. I feel so hurt and angry. He's the one that walked out and now he's demanding everything. Please help**************..in South Carolina.

Have you changed the locks to your house ? Is the threat recorded ??

You could go to the local court house and file a restaining order if the threat is against you and you feel physically threatened.
