THIS IS THE QUICK VERSION TO A LONG
STORY. MY SONS MOM AND MYSELF HAVE HAD
JONT CUSTODY OF MY SON HIS WHOLE LIFE.
THREE YEARS AGO WE SWITCHED ROLES WITH
ME HAVING PHYSICAL CUSTODY. SHORTLY
AFTER THAT I LEARNED OF THE DANGEROUS
SITUATIONS SHE WAS PLACING MY SON IN ON
A SEMI-REGULAR BASIS (DUE TO HER
LIFESTYLE AS A COCAINE ABUSING STRIPPER)
I IMMEDIATELY FILED A PETITION FOR
CUSTODY. TWO AND A HALF YEARS WENT BY
OF HER FILING CONTINUANCES, AND CHANGING
ATTORNEYS. WE HAD A CUSTODY EVALUATION
AND THE PSYCHOLOGIST RECOMMENDED SOLE
CUSTODY TO ME. SHE REQUESTED A GUARDIAN
AD LITEM, AND HE ALSO REQUESTED CUSTODY
TO ME, BUT HE THOUGHT HIS MOM SHOULD GET
HIM A COUPLE OF DAYS A WEEK.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS SCARY. FOUR DAYS
BEFORE OUR FINAL COURT DATE, A LARGE
QUANTITY F MARIJUANA IS PLANTED IN MY
VEHICLE WHERE I WORK, AND AN ANONYMOUS
TIP MADE TO THE POLICE. MY NIGHTMARE
BEGINS.....THE ARRESTING OFFICER
BELIEVED ME, AND THE PROSECUTOR IS
WILLING TO LET MY ATTORNEY PROVE MY
INNOCENCE, BUT HE HAD TO FILE THE
CHARGES. AS SOON AS I GOT OUT OF JAIL
MY ATTORNEY ASKED FOR A COURT ORDER TO
TAKE A URINALYSIS, HE ASKED THAT THE
BAGS CONTAINING THE DRUGS BE DUSTED FOR
PRINTS, AND WE'RE TRYING TO GET A
POLYGRAPH SET UP THROUGH THE STATE
POLICE. OTHER PLAND ARE IN MOTION, BUT
THE SUBPONEAS HAVEN'T BEEN PREPARED YET,
SO I SHOULDN'T POST THEM AT THIS TIME.
AT MY COURT DATE I HAD TO AGREE TO TERMS
I'M NOT COMFORTABLE WITH, BUT GOT
CUSTODY "LOCKED" IN. THE AGREEMENT
READS A "HYRBRID" JOINT CUSTODY WHERE
BOTH PARTIES HAVE EQUAL ACCESS TO
EDUCATIONAL AND MEDICAL RECORDS, BUT
FATHER HAS FINAL SAY IF PARENTS CAN'T
AGREE. SHE ALSO GETS HIM TWO DAYS A
WEEK, ONCE DURING THE SCHOOL WEEK.
I HAVE A GREAT DEAL OF SUPPORT COMING IN
BUT I NEED ANY ADVICE I CAN GET ON THIS
FOR MY SON IS MY WHOLE LIFE, AND AFTER
THIS STUNT, THERES NO TELLING WHAT HIS
PSYCHOPATH MOTHER WILL PULL NEXT.
FYI I'VE NEVER SEEN HER LOOK SO
NERVOUS IN HER LIFE. I THIK SHE MUST
REALIZE THAT IF I CAN IMPLICATE HER IN
THIS HER GOOSE IS COOKED. ANY HELP IN
PROVING MY INNOCENCE, AND/OR NAILING THE
GUILTY PARTY RECEIVES MY "LIFE DEBT".

Have you considered a Private Investigator? I am not sure if you can afford it and what if any evidence (if found) can be used in court. Ask your lawyer about it and explain that you are considering this as an additional way bringing more information to light. I would follow the advice of your lawyer, it sounds like you have a good one. My heart aches for your son and for your situation. I hope it all works out.

Thanks for your kind words. My lawyer and I did discuss a private investigator, and plan to use one. My problem is that due to the nature of my work ( a counselor for children and adolescents) plus the fact that the story made the fromt page, I am suspended from work without pay pending the investigation of the drug charges. I make a decent living, but like most people, I'm a paycheck to paycheck kind of guy. I put my rental property on the market to try and raise some income, and will probably use a P.I. sparingly to follow up with any leads we can come op with. When my son is at school, I go to the local law school to research like cases, but I'm having difficulty finding related cases of planted evidence, or being framed. Any advice is most welcomed.

Believe it or not, I have heard of this
type of thing happening before. My heart
goes out to you and your son. I can't
offer much advice for you other than keep
fighting, and I know that the ball is in
the prosecutors court, meaning that if
you can present enugh evidence to prove
your innocence, he can drop the charges.
I'd be afraid of your ex, though, she
sounds extremely dangerous!
Good luck

Sad story. If you have no prior record, the urinalysis, no finger prints, and a polygraph along with your situation shuld get you out of trouble. I hope you can nail the person that framed you.

I would think that cocaine abusing strippers would make alot of enemies, someone who was her friend yesterday might very well be her worst enemy tomorrow, when your story made the front page, she probably bragged alot, don't give up hope that a witness will come to you. But keep in mind that these people aren't very sharp and might not remember what she has done when they are wanting revenge if you don't keep your story fresh in everyone's mind. It might even be helpful to find some guy that she doesn't know and send him to her strip club just to see what he can hear. Even if she doesn't work there anymore, people in the business who know her might talk. You mignt also have a person that you check in with a few times a day at certain times who can notify the police if you don't check in just as a precaution, she's obivously capable of alot.

How old is your son? I have heard this type of story before. It happens more often then we think. You are in my prayers.
