Property sale first....then divorce???

Can my divorce be held up due to the need to sell our co op first?? Or can they be seperate??

My response:

Issues of property can always be separated from the issue of divorce. It's called "bifurcation" of issues. In other words, you can get your divorce and the court will retain jurisdiction over the property issues until settled.
