Question

I would really like to know what the New York Law is about Wether or not I am responsible to pay for college now that my son is 21 years of age. He has been in college for 2 years his grades are poor and I have never been made to pay for college before. I just need to know what the law is.

Dear Leaglebeagle,
Thank You for your input, However I did contact an attorney this morning who specializes in this field and he says that yes, there is a provision for higher education in NY, however unless stated in the divorce, The courts have no authority to order college to be paid after the age of 21.
He said that my obligation is over...
