Our family has decided to take a religious exemption for our child's immunizations, which South Carolina allows. Our pediatrician called our parents (telling them about our decision without our permission, thus violating our confidentiality) and told them they did not want to provide services for our child. Are my civil rights being violated and what course of action might I have to secure a physician. Please note: We would not refuse any medical treatment should our child need it, just the immunizations.
