I have received the temporary restraining order on May 25 and the hearing is scheduled on June 2. Since there is holiday on Monday, I want to find out how I can postpone and reschedule the hearing date. This is my first time I've received this order and I don't know what to expect at the hearing. Do I need an attorney to represent me? How can I be prepared and what should I do to get prepared?
I believe I am falsely accused of the offensive actions and threats I haven't committed and have no knowledge of such offenses. I can provide proof and evidence that I haven't done such actions towards the person who is accusing me of groundless accusations. For instance, the attorney stated that I already purchased traveling tickets for certain dates to get out of the state. I have no trip scheduled and no such tickets purchased exists. This is the type of lie and baseless accusations the restraining order was placed on me. I would sincerely appreciate your advice on this pressing matter. I haven't had any legal records whatsoever for fifty years. I don't know how to pursue this legal action placed on. Thank you for your response.
