| My husband and I seperated and it was ugly. I was very angry and filed for divorce. when he came to get his things there was a confrontation, long story short... the divorce was never finalized but I have a restraining order against him. He has completed a year of anger management and but is still on probation. We wish to reconcile but I he can be violted for any contact other then the pick up and drop off of our child. How do I remove the restraining order? What can i do? |

| The only poblem your husband would have is if you were the call the police to enforce the order. And if it were to go to court and your husband had witnesses and documentation showing that you and he were living together again the violation of the order would be taken for the what it was worth. If you fear any further violence, I would keep the order, should you need it. In answer to your question, I'm sure if you contacted a paralegal or lawyer you could ammend your restraining order, just as you would do if you were to change residences or jobs. I'm guessing, but, I doubt you are the first women to reconcil with and ex. |
