I have been refused any and all contact with my son and his mother has changed his name. Will this affect her child support order? what rights do I have in this situation? What is there that I can do to remedy this problem? Please help! jjmcneil@netzero.net

no that would not effect you paying child support. visitation and support are two different matters. assuming that you have spent regular time with your child in the past (most father's on this site do not) and pay child support regularly (same)you will have to take her to court to straighten out the visitation problem. as far as changing his name, i didn't know she could do that legally without your consent. you may need to check that out with an attorney as well
