| If a single mom needs to move out of state, can the biological father charge her with kidnapping? She has to move to give the child a home, and the father does not pay child support. They've never been to court. Or does she simply have to inform him of the move? Any help is appreciated. |

| You have a more worrying problem than moving. You have no court order for custody. If, in the event that father decides on a visitation, he could refuse to return the child and file for custody.. and you will not be able to do anything to have the child returned to before the custody hearing. Get custody sorted out and sort the moving out at the same time. |
