Help! My sister left abusive relationship in Lorain Ohio and moved to Pennsylvania. Ex is threatening to file kidnapping charges and is seeking counsel for custody of the 2 children. Is that possible? What do we do!

If you leave a state with children against the knowledge of wishes of the other parent, it is kidnapping. There are a few exceptions, one is if you are in fear and running away due to abuse etc. Providing she can prove the abuse etc she will be fine.
