We just moved to a small town in Wisconsin,my daughter ran away from home and was picked up in the city we moved from. She was handcuffed and arrested, shes now home and working, and doing well. She has a social worker, however since she returned to this school she has been getting detentions for things like dropping a piece of paper on the floor, saying things to her friends in lunch,or hallways between classes, the school had her arrested because she was ill one day and wanted to call home and they wouldn't allow that,so she got alittle mouthie, however never used no bad language. She was just kicked out of this school for 3 days for swearing, she had a hall pass and was stopped by the school superintendent,he decided that the pass was no good and she belonged in class. She got upset with him and said this school is full of sh##. So he kicked her out,he also said that someone told him that she said something bad about him so he gave her a ticket for $150,plus community service.I asked about home schooling he refuses to go along with that. He now is watching her non stop and waiting for her to mess up so he can kick her out for the rest of this year and next year. She is not the only student that gets treated like this.Myself and other parents have tired to talk to the school about the rules there and have gotten nowhere. They run this school like a prison and make theses kids feel like prisoners.Any help or information that might help would be great. Also anything about my rights to home teach my children.Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. |
