My soon to be ex-husband and I have joint custody. He has had 2 suicide attempts since we seperated and I am concerned about his ability to care for our 2 year old when she goes for visitation. My lawyer tells me that in the state of Wisconsin (where the divorce is taking place)your spouse pretty much has to be an ax murder to lose joint custody. I am scared and don't know what to do. My lawyer doesn't take me seriously even though everything is documented. What should I do??

Ask the judge to have a Psychological evaluation done on your soon to be ex. Explain to the judge your fears but be rational when doing so.
