| I know that in Maryland when you apply for SSI benefits, they ask you to state the children you have. My daughter's father applied a few months ago and had to state all three of his children. They will then send us our amounts and this will not affect the amount that he gets. It is to make sure we are getting taken care of in the meantime, while he is out of work. |
