SC-My mother is currently in ICU and has been for 19 days. I am 31 years old and 5 hours away from her. I went to visit during regular visiting hours and my step dad (not the nurses or doctors) asked the nurses not to allow me or anyone to see her. The nurse stated that he was her husband and I had to respect his wishes. I am her daughter. Does my step dad have the right to control when, etcc I can see my own mother?
