Has anyone had this experience: my husband and his ex-wife have joint custody of their 3 children, physical custody split about 45-55% in her favor. She says now that he's married to me, his income has virtually doubled and she could therefore get more child/spousal support from him. Is this correct? Am I now responsible for paying for her children? Besides getting a divorce or quitting my job, how can we keep her from touching my income?
