Question

IT APPEARS TO ME THAT MEN HAVE NO RIGHTS IN THE COURT SYSTEMS. I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME HELP ON THE TOPIC OF VISITATION RIGHTS FOR A NON CUSTODIAL FATHER. HE HAS A COURT ORDER THAT HE HAD TO OBTAIN AND HAS BEEN SEEING HIS DAUGHTER ON A REGULAR BASIS.THE MOM HAS SINCE MARRIED AND HAS A NEW BABY.SHE STOPPED VISITATION THIS PAST WEEKEND BECAUSE SHE HAD TO WORK AND THE CHILD HAD A SOFTBALL GAME.HIS VISITATION WAS TO BEGIN FRIDAY AT 6PM AND SHE INSISTED THAT HE PICK HER UP SATURDAY AT 1200NOON.WE ALREADY HAD PLANS FOR FRIDAY SET UP SO HE TOLD HER HE WOULD COME AT 600 FRIDAY AS ORDERED. HE OFFERED TO LET THE MOM COME AND TAKE THE CHILD TO HER GAME BUT SHE STATED SHE HAD TO WORK. ANYWAY SHE WOULD NOT ALLOW HIM TO SEE HIS DAUGHTER AND NOW IT WILL BE ALMOST 22 DAYS SINCE HE LAST SAW HER.WHAT CAN HE DO TO INSURE HIS RIGHTS WITH OUT HIS DAUGHTER BEING PUT THROUGH MORE TURMOIL?

go to court and file a complaint that the mother is refusing to go along with the parent time agreement, if you take her to court she may have to pay all legal expenses.

This has nothing to do with "no rights in the court suystem", what it has to do with is an uncooperative ex. She can not simply do as she pleases regarding co-parenting time. Your time is your time.
It will cost you virutally nothing to file a complaint against her. You may acutally wind up with more time with your daughter.
By the way, the courts are bending over backwards to give fathers the same rights as mothers...look at the statistics of how many fathers now have the role of primary care-giver....it's on the rise.
