what does the term "in camera" in italics mean?

My son is looking to change his last name, and his father's attorney wants him to testify "In camera". Doex this mean the obvious, that he would like a video deposition from him, rather than subjecting him to courtroom, or does he want him to have to testify in open court?

en camera means you get to go before the judge and speak to him privately.usually th eother lawyers don't like this and there is a rule that you can't talk to the judge but i forget thename of that but I do know this one good luck!
